Demonstration system — not an ADI. WA Bank is a prototype operated by Treasury Services Group. It is not an authorised deposit-taking institution, holds no APRA banking authority, and accepts no deposits. Nothing here is an offer of a financial product, and no deposit shown is protected by the Financial Claims Scheme.

WA Bank

Whatever your needs, we have products and services that can help you bank the way you want.

Product Offerings

Deposit and lending products, at the rates held in the core banking catalogue.

Reproduced by hand from the prototype's seeded catalogue. There is no live feed from the platform, so these figures do not track repricing and may lag the running system.

Enhanced Term Deposit

Choose your term, and when you're paid

5.35% *p.a. 9-month term, interest at maturity, balances $5,000+

  • Terms from 3 months to 5 years
  • Interest monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, annually or at maturity
  • 5.50% p.a. on balances of $250,000 or more

Home Loan Variable

Variable rate home loan with offset and redraw

6.15% *p.a. variable, BBSW + 2.50%, owner-occupied

Comparison rate 6.19% p.a. — comparison rate based on a loan of $150,000 over 25 years.

WARNING: This comparison rate is true only for the examples given and may not include all fees and charges. Different terms, fees or other loan amounts might result in a different comparison rate.

  • Offset account and free redraw
  • Principal and interest, terms up to 30 years
  • Borrow up to 80% LVR, with no monthly fee

*Illustrative rates from the WA Bank core banking catalogue, shown for demonstration only. They are not an offer, are not available for subscription, and are not protected by the Financial Claims Scheme — WA Bank is not an ADI. In a live product, withdrawing a term deposit before maturity would reduce the interest earned, and lending would be subject to credit approval, terms, conditions and fees.

Client Application

Demonstration only. No account can be opened and nothing you type is sent or stored. WA Bank is not an authorised deposit-taking institution and holds no APRA banking authority. This form shows what a licensed Australian ADI collects when you open a personal account, and is here so the onboarding the platform models can be seen end to end.

Please don't enter a real identity document number. Submitting only checks the form — it reaches no server, no inbox and no database.

Proving who you are

Attach one certified identity document. Tell us which kind first — we'll hide the details it already shows, so you only fill in the rest.

Certified photo ID

Australian passport, Australian driver's licence, or a current foreign passport or driver's licence showing your signature.

Which ID are you providing?

We'll hide the details this document already shows, so you only fill in the rest.

Your file stays in this browser. It is not uploaded, not read, and not sent anywhere — this form has no server behind it.

    About you

    Where you live

Your residential address, as it appears on your identity document. A PO box can't be used — anti-money-laundering rules require a physical address.

    How to reach you

    A few questions

Every Australian bank asks these under its customer due diligence obligations. They're the "some questions" part of opening an account.

This form establishes who you are. Which account you open, how much you deposit and — for a term deposit — the term and interest arrangements are chosen afterwards, in the client or staff portal. So is your tax file number and tax residency, which belong behind a login rather than on a public web page.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is WA Bank a real bank?

No. WA Bank is a core banking platform prototype built by Treasury Services Group. It is not an authorised deposit-taking institution, holds no APRA banking authority, and cannot accept deposits or make loans. This site demonstrates what the platform can model, not products you can buy.

Are the rates on this site real offers?

No. They are the illustrative rates held in the prototype's product catalogue, reproduced here so the catalogue and the demonstration portal show the same figures. They are not an offer, they are not available for subscription, and they may differ from the rates in the running demonstration system.

Are deposits protected by the Financial Claims Scheme?

No. The Financial Claims Scheme protects deposits held with an authorised deposit-taking institution. WA Bank is not one, and holds no customer money. The platform models FCS coverage internally so that a licensed operator could rely on it, but no such protection exists here.

Can I open an account or place a deposit through this site?

No. WA Bank holds no banking authority, so no account can be opened and no deposit can be accepted. The account-opening form on this page is a demonstration: it shows what a licensed Australian ADI collects when you open a personal account — identity details and the customer due diligence questions every bank must ask — and then checks your answers and stops. Nothing you type is transmitted or stored anywhere, which is why the form asks you not to enter a real identity document number. Tax file number and tax residency are not asked for at all: in a live service those are provided in the client portal once the account is open, behind a login, rather than on a public web page.
